We are currently situated on a half-acre of property, which allows for plenty of space for the children to disperse into many different interest areas. Our park like setting includes a large play structure with climbers and slides, a large sandbox with running water, a water table for hot days, a chicken coop and bunny area, a garden area, a grassy corner, a playhouse for dramatic play, and an outdoor art area. Our new school will be an even larger space, almost a full acre and a second outdoor classroom area!

Children need room to move, and often even during a project if the children need to run, we will take a break and do a quick run! This environment is great for children with lots of energy, and also works well for children who prefer more individual play. Our curriculum allows for worm digging, body painting, bug catching,​ and many kinds of messy creatively based art projects. There is something for everyone in our large shaded yard!
