Now Enrolling for Pre-K, Kindergarten, Before and After School Care, and Summer Camp!

Play isn't just for preschoolers! Kid Time's Aftercare location offers Pre-K, Kindergarten, and School Aged before and After school care for Ages 4-12!

Our Kindergarten is our Special Kid Time version of hands on play based learning, while being sure to complete all state standards. We have low ratios and lots of teacher interaction. Three hours of their day is dedicated to Kindergarten and the rest of the day is full of free play and exploration. Curriculum will cover both Junior K and Kindergarten with plenty of individualized attention.

We are now enrolling four year olds! Pre-Kindergarten or TK eligible spaces available for full time care.

This Fall we will pick up from Valhalla, Strandwood, PHE, Sequoia and Gregory Gardens depending on need and demand. Email our Director, Charlie for a tour. Kidtimeaftercare1@gmail.com

Meet Charlie, our Director

Charlie Hodes has been a member of the Kid Time family since he first sat down for circle time in 2002. Sixteen years later, he returned to Kid Time as a teacher’s assistant. After gaining both units and experience, Charlie helped open up Kid Time Aftercare at the start of the 2018-19 school year, and Kid Time Summer Camp in 2019. In May of 2020, Charlie became the Director of both programs. He is excited for the future of these programs, and cannot wait to continue to bring Kid Time’s play based philosophy to school age children. In his free time, Charlie likes to sing, write music, and binge watch bad sit-coms.

Our Kid Time Aftercare Staff

Our staff consists of caring individuals who enjoy their jobs and at the same time bring a level of professionalism with them. Kid Time strives for low turnover and fosters relationships with long time teachers who help out as needed; we never call in strangers as substitutes. Both Kid Time's Owner and Director work with the children daily, keeping them in touch with the day to day activities and schedules which helps keep the quality level high.

Like learning, we believe staff training is an ongoing process. Staff meetings, training sessions, conferences and classes are offered to keep the teachers learning and growing throughout their employment at Kid Time.
