Introducing Kid Time Kindergarten and Distance Learning
Play isn't just for preschoolers! Kid Time is moving our Aftercare location and expanding to include a full day Kindergarten and School Aged Distance Learning.
Our Kindergarten is our Special Kid Time version of hands on play based learning, while being sure to complete all state standards. We have three teachers with two groups of under ten children each. Three hours of their day is dedicated to Kindergarten and the rest of the day is full of free play and exploration.
We also accommodate Grades 1-5 and all of their Distance Learning Schedules, keep them in controlled groups of 12 with all Covid precautions taken, and make sure they are socially and emotionally thriving in a Pandemic world. Our friends missed each other more than anything else during the SIP, and we want to give them what they have been missing while they complete their schoolwork from their home school and teacher.
Kid Time remained open throughout Covid-19 and SIP and feel very comfortable with all new procedures. We look forward to a wonderful (if weird) year!
Meet Charlie, our Director
Charlie Hodes has been a member of the Kid Time family since he first sat down for circle time in 2002. Sixteen years later, he returned to Kid Time as a teacher’s assistant. After gaining both units and experience, Charlie helped open up Kid Time Aftercare at the start of the 2018-19 school year, and Kid Time Summer Camp in 2019. In May of 2020, Charlie became the Director of both programs. He is excited for the future of these programs, and cannot wait to continue to bring Kid Time’s play based philosophy to school age children. In his free time, Charlie likes to sing, write music, and binge watch bad sit-coms.
